Ten days ago, we were all excited to go to the last frontier - Palawan. We all boarded the Super Ferry and stayed there for 25 hours. Actually, we were never bored because we were in the company of the brods. We sang, we played cards, we put henna tattoo and we ate. At last, we arrived at Puerto Princesa City, Palawan’s capital and we were fetched by 2 vans. We went to the town of Narra, where King’s mother was the mayor. We stayed at the convention center to rest. However during the day, we went on with work for the medical, dental and surgical mission. On the third day at Narra, we had our fair share of rest and recreation. We went to the island where we found the cockatoos, the threatened species of birds. And then, we went to another island, the Arena island where we played with the big and small turtles, the king crab and puffer fish. After the arena island, we went to the Estrella falls where the pristine water cools our bodies which made us relax. The day after, we journeyed to the island of El Nido. El Nido literally means The Nest. It was so called because it is where the bird’s nest soup or the nido soud came from. The locals gather the nests of the balinsasayaw from the caves of the islands. We served 170 tuli patients and 70 dental cases. After that long day, we prepared to go Island hopping. We went to Matinloc Island, Miniloc Island and Lagen Island, where the Amazing race happened when it stayed at the Philippines. On the second day, we went to the big and small lagoon, the snake island, helicopter island and many others. We snorkeled, we swam, we kayaked. Everything was great! Even my tan was great! No matter how strong my sunblock was, I became tanned. We traveled by air on the way home via the Asian Spirit and arrived home peacefully.
